PECO 636-C-AC-PM Filter Element is used for amine and glycol process purification. Our carbon grades are specially formulated to provide long life and color solvent purification. Radial and vertical flow models are available in a variety of sizes to fit all popular housings. The carbon is sealed in the knitted sock to prevent the media from moving, and the end of the center tube is sealed to prevent bypass, all of which help ensure the trouble-free performance of your process unit. Our activated carbon is based on coal, which minimizes dust. It has the best ratio of micropores to mesopores to remove dissolved organics, acid degradation by-products and heat stable salt precursors. It is flushed with water to reduce the amount of metal that can be leached, and it has a high proportion of mesopores to enhance the ability to remove liquid hydrocarbons from process chemicals. We also offer larger 4 x 10 particle sizes to extend the life of high-solids equipment.
